Scott + Amanda: Downtown Raleigh Wedding, The Stockroom at 230

When I first met Scott and Amanda, I could immediately see how connected they were. They have a way of looking at each other that makes it seem like they’re the only two in the room. And even through the excitement of the day, they never lost sight of each other and why they were there. 2013 was a big year for them as they not only became husband and wife, but also mom and dad! Their sweet son, Mason, served as a “best man” and even though the poor little guy had been fighting an ear infection and the trauma of teething, he made it through the day with flying colors. It was a gorgeous October day and I am so excited to relive and it’s warmth all over again.

The day started early for the girls with hair and make-up at my favorite salon, Bottega Studio on Glenwood South. The mimosas and laughter were freely flowing as Amanda and her friends prepped.

After hair and make-up, the entire bridal party headed to Christ Church for dressing.

LOVE these next photos my sweet second shooter Katie got of Scott and Mason.

Then it was time for the first look. This moment is always a favorite for me. I love the anticipation, the emotion, the sweetness, and the looks on their faces as they embark on their wedding day together.

Congrats Scott, Amanda & Mason!
